An example in Paris seems to go even further – the Art Home experience that Electrolux is presenting in partnership with the Palais de Tokyo (a contemporary art centre in Paris). In 2007 a futuristic hotel room, Hotel Everland, was installed on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo (after Switzerland and Germany). For over a year a few hundred privileged clients were able to discover a unique experience - sleeping in a room overlooking Paris.
Electrolux took over, by designing an architectural structure on the roof of the Palace. Inspired by Japanese bars where people like to meet in small groups, each evening, Nomiya welcomes 12 guests around a meal that is unique. To participate, you only have to be fast: tickets are available on the Internet a month in advance. Special dinners are, for their part, auctioned off ... This extraordinary restaurant is associated with cooking workshops for adults and children that are conducted in the Palace itself: the recipes of the meals are re-created by the participants. A vegetable garden (vegetables, herbs, edible flowers ...), completes the picture.
Here Electrolux implements a very comprehensive approach to the new trends in social status: an exceptional artistic venue, a "resident" chef, an exclusive experience, participation in creation, natural ingredients and an enjoyable sensory experience ... A resounding success!
